Hello and welcome to my blog today. I am hopping with my friends from the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop group.
Our theme today is Fall. Leaves changing colors and cool nights are just a couple of reasons why I love fall. I am showcasing the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle.

I decided to make a simple card for today’s blog hop.
Just a little bit of Designer Series Paper, one die-cut, and a couple of stamps. My card is inspired by a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

Now onto my card – isn’t this nice and simple? It’s been a long time since I made a card like this. I think it is a nice way to say you’re thankful for someone.

The card base is Thick Basic White card stock. I added two card stock panels – one Cajun Craze and the other is Bumblebee. Cajun Craze and Bumblebee are awesome colors to use for a fall combo.
The three squares are from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. The paper is perfect for this card. The sentiment is from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set.
For the background stamping – I inked the splatter dots (from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set) up in Cajun Craze and stamped off before I stamped on the Basic White card stock. I then adhered the 3 square designer series paper. I die-cut one leaf from the Intricate Leaves Die in Cajun Craze and added a small piece of linen thread to it.
Card measurements:
Thick Basic White: – 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
Cajun Craze – panel: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 also enough for die-cut
Bumblebee – panel: 4 x 5 1/4
Basic White – 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
DSP – 1 3/4 x 1 3/4
I hope I inspired you to make a simple card. To continue along the blog hop, click on the image below to see what my good friend Donna has made today.
