Colour Combo October Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo October Blog Hop. Stampin Up demonstrators from around the world will share with you their projects using this month’s color combinations which are: Mossy Meadow, Bermuda Bay and Smokey Slate. For my project I used the Under My Umbrella stamp set.

I choose this stamp set for it had been raining here in the past couple of weeks. Some days, it would drizzle just enough to mess up your day.

The card base is Mossy Meadow (happy that Stampin’ Up brought this color back).
I stamped the rain drops in Smokey Slate. I wasn’t paying attention of the direction of the rain drops, so some are stamped upside down. Makes my card unique – don’t you think?

The umbrella and rain boots (Galoshes or wellies) images was stamped on the Bermuda Bay Brights Designer Series Paper. Punched out the umbrella and fussy cut the rain boots. Wink of Stella was applied to the polka dots. Prior to adhering the rain boots, I stamped the small flower image and colored it with Bermuda Bay and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.

I thought I would make this an encouragement card and the sentiment is just right. We all could use some type of encouragement these days.
