Hello my friends. Welcome to the Stamping with Friends April Blog. This blog hop we are celebrating National / International Days for the month of May. I choose to Day of the Donkey which is on May 8th.
“World Donkey Day is a show of respect for one of the most enduring and respectable animals in the Equidae family. Throughout history, it has served throughout the world as both a mount and a beast of burden in some of the most challenging terrains and forbidding climates, and has done so with pride and endurance. It’s unsurprising that these beasts’ success is due in part to their stubborn nature, and World Donkey Day honors them for this along with their other, perhaps more laudable, traits.”
The stamp set I used is the retired Sale-A-Bration Darling Donkeys. When the stamp set was released, I wasn’t to thrilled about it and then I saw all the cute samples. So I knew I had to have it.
I punched Basic White card stock with the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. All donkey images was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used the Gray Granite Combo Stampin’ Blends to color the donkeys. Aren’t they cute.
The designer series paper panel is from the In Good Taste (which is being carried over to the new annual catalog).
The image panels are adhered to Basic Black card stock. Popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I can’t wait to send this card to a friend. Again, thank you for stopping by. To continue along the hop, click on the image below and see what Tricia has made.
