Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We hop every first and third Saturday of the month. The challenge for this hop is an Accordion Fun Fold. There are many different types of accordion folds, so I decided to make a Triple Accordion Fun Fold card.
I used the Let’s Go Shopping bundle and Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper for my card.
First, I made myself a template so I knew just where I wanted to place everything and of course, use the next time I make this style of card.
Night of Navy card stock is used for the card base with Calypso Coral for the panels.
Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the Designer Series Paper to the panels (front and back).
I die-cut 6 lamp posts in Basic Black card stock and adhered 3 of them together. This gives the lamp posts a little bit of dimension. The flower pot and sign were die-cut using dies from the bundle.
Using my snips, I fussy cut the buildings – picking which ones I wanted to use was hard and popped them up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The “Hello” and “Happy Birthday” sentiments were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
This is how the card looks when it’s completely flat. It does fit in a regular A2 envelope.
Card base: 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 2 3/4, 4 1/4, 7 1/4, and 8 1/2 inches
Panels: 4 x 4
Designer Series Paper: 3 7/8 x 3 7/8, 2 x 3 7/8
Basic White: 2 1/4 x 4
