Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am doing a Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges. I found this blog a while back but never participated in their challenges. Anyone can join but you must use Stampin’ Up! only products. The challenge this time is Silhouette Stamping (SUDOC #335).
I have never done this technique before so I tried to decide what stamp set and colors I wanted to use. I ended up choosing the Nature’s Prints Cling Stamp Set.
The colors I used for my card are:
To start, I created a stencil/mask using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. To create the stencil/mask, I die-cut one of the Decked Rectangle dies on Basic White card stock and adhered it to my panel using removable tape.
Using Blending Brushes, I started with Crushed Curry ink, then added Pumpkin Pie, next Cajun Craze, and finally Cherry Cobbler ink. Then I stamped the large leaf image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The sentiment is from the Lasting Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set. Stampin’ Dimensionals was used to pop the panel on the Thick Basic White card stock card base.
I love how my card turned out. I will be trying the Silhouette Stamping technique again and I hope I have inspired you to try it out.
