Hello and welcome to my blog today. Today I am hopping with the Stamping with Friends group which are talented paper crafters from around the world. Now if you are starting with me or just came from Rachel’s blog, we have some awesome projects to show you. Our theme for this blog hop is Color Combination Challenge.
The colors for the color combination challenge are Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, Mango Melody, and Pacific Point.
For my card, I am using the Hippest Hippos and Hippo dies. Now they aren’t available yet but come July 1st they will. And the best part is it’s both of them are Sale-a-bration items. That means both will be free with a qualifying order.
I decided to make an Impossible card. I haven’t made one of these in a long time. They are so much fun to make.
The card base is Pacific Point and the 2022-2024 In-Color designer series paper Tahitian TIde. Love how these to go nicely together.
I colored the ballerina Hippo is Smokey Slate and the skin tone Stampin’ Blends. Her nails are Mango Melody – dug out my blender pens to color them. The tutu and shoes are in Sweet Sorbet. Both sentiments are from the Charming Sentiments stamp set. Doesn’t she look cute?
For the center of the flower, I used the Pearlized Enamel Effects Basic White – be available in the July – December Mini Catalog which goes live July 1st. Tip- let the enamel effects dry before you touch your card (ask me how I know).
I do hope I inspired you to create your own impossible card using the colors that were chosen. To continue along the blog hop, click on the next button to see what my friend Deb has made for us today.
