Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I want to share with you a technique using your 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper. It is called Two at a Time card.
My preferred size for designer series paper is 12 x 12 for I use it for cards, making bags, or decorating treat holders. When it comes to the 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, I sometimes struggle to find ways to use it without wasting it.
I made two sets of cards using the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and they are easy to make. I love this paper – with the flower patterns ranging from small to large – this paper is great for card making and scrapbooking.
Here is the cutting guide for the 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I will have the full instructions listed below on how you can create your cards.
My first set of cards uses the designer series paper with the Calypso Coral color background. I made one in horizontal and the other in landscape.
Once I cut the designer series paper per the cutting guide, I laid the pieces on the Calypso Coral card stock. When I was happy with the placement, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them down.
After all the pieces were glued down, I flipped the card stock over and used my scissors to cut off the excess. I adhered both panels on Pretty Peacock card stock.
The sentiment used on the first Calypso Coral card is from the Heartfelt Hexagon Photopolymer Stamp Set and I punched it out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. You can see the bundle here.
Second Calypso Coral card I used the sentiment from the Year to Celebrate Photopolymer Stamp Set.
For my second set of cards, I used the designer series paper with the Wild Wheat background. Made these cards the same way. For the panel, I used Poppy Parade card stock and adhered it to Mossy Meadow card stock. The card base is Wild Wheat card stock.
Once again, I used the Heartfelt Hexagon bundle for this card. I stamped the frame on Basic White card stock in Poppy Parade. The sentiment is from the Timeless Arrangements Photopolymer Stamp Set. All sentiments popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
This card also uses the sentiment from the Heartfelt Hexagon Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped flowers around it. I colored the Basic Rhinestone Jewels in Poppy Parade using the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend and put them in the center of the flowers.

Which set of cards is your favorite? I prefer the Calypso Coral – for that was my first favorite color when I first started to use Stampin’ UP! products. I do hope you are inspired to create yours.
Until next time my crafting friends,
