Hello and welcome to the Ink Stamp Share blog hop. If you are starting with me or just came from Annette’s blog, I know you will be inspired by the many projects showcased today. The theme for the blog hop is Tic Tac Toe (or as it is also called noughts and crosses or Xs and Os).
For this hop, we were to create a project by choosing a line either vertical, horizontal, or diagonal using the image shown below. For my card, I decided to use a line going diagonally – Jewels, Ribbon, and Christmas.
I just love how this card turned out. I used Mint Macaron Card Stock for my card base.
Since I choose Christmas as part of my Tic Tac Toe, I decided to use the Whimsy and Wonder Designer Series Paper. Isn’t this paper just awesome? The images include gifts, trees, snowflakes, and more. And once the holidays are done, I can use the versatile stripes and tone-on-tone patterns for birthday cards.
For the ribbon part, I used the Snowflake Spendor Ribbon. I love how it sparkles. And last but not least for the jewels, I colored the Pearl Basic Jewels with my Dark Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend. I fussy cut a holly image and placed the jewels on the berries. Love it!
The sentiment is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set which I stamped in Polished Pink and die cut using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I added a small strip of vellum behind it and popped it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I do I have inspired you to create a card using the Tic Tac Toe image. Now to see what wonderful inspiration Mo Rootes has created, click on the image below.
