Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friend Blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators from around the world sharing our love for paper crafting. Today’s challenge (theme) is a Tic Tac Toe challenge.
The challenge is to use any three squares of the image below going diagonally, vertically, or straight across. I decided to go across using the thank you, yellow, and vellum squares.
For my card, I used the Enduring Beauty Bundle. The Enduring Beauty Bundle includes the Enduring Beauty Stamp Set, the Enduring Beauty Dies, and the Enduring Beauty Decorative Masks. Today, I only used the stamp set and dies. Can’t wait to make a card using the masks.
“To make my card, I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to ink up the image and stamped it on a quarter sheet of Basic White cardstock. Next, I die-cut it out using the die. A helpful tip is to die-cut first and color later, as it yields better results. Ask me how I know!”
To color the leaves, I used the Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends. The florals were colored using the Dark So Saffron and outlined with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends.
For the layers, I embossed a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock with the Timeworn 3D Embossing folder. I adhered this panel to a layer of Basic Black card stock. These layers were adhered to the card base (Thick Basic White card stock). Using Mini Glue dots to adhere the Vellum card stock and pop up the image and sentiment using Stampin Dimensionals. I applied Glossy Dots to the centers of three of the flowers.
I do believe I met the requirements for the Tic Tac Toe challenge. What would you have picked?
