Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s the first Saturday of the month, so it’s time for another blog hop with my good friends at the Stamping with Friends blog hop group. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world sharing our love of paper crafting. Today’s theme is to showcase products from the September – December 2024 Mini Catalog. I made a card using the Reindeer Fun products.
When I saw this suite in the catalog, I knew I just had to have it. And oh, the book treat boxes—you will love them. So, onto my card.
I used Thick Basic White card stock for the base and embossed Real Red card stock with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing folder. This embossing folder is one of the new sizes—it measures 6 x 8 1/2 inches. To make my designer series panel, I cut a piece of Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper measuring 3 x 3 and adhered it to Garden Green card stock measuring 3 1/8 x 3 1/8.
For the reindeer, there are three dies to create him. I die-cut him in (1) Early Espresso, (2) Very Vanilla, and (3)Pecan Pie card stock. Garden Green card stock is used for the wreath, and Real Red card stock for the bow. Using the Spotlight on Nature dies, I adhered my reindeer to a circle die-cut. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink. And, of course, one must have bling – I used the Real Red & White Adhesive Backed Peppermints.
Here’s a book treat box I made earlier this week. What do you think?
So, with this card, I have officially started making my Christmas cards. I know I will be making more using the Reindeer Fun. To continue along the blog hop, click Next Blog to see what my friends have created to inspire you.
