New At SU – Ornate Style Floral Stamps

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! June Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. The theme for June’s blog Hop is “New Floral” Stamps and I will be showcasing products from the Ornate Garden Suite.

For my project, I made a three panel card. I love how this turned out. The Designer Series Paper really makes it pop.
This card is going to a customer of mine – thanking her for her order.

The first panel is the card base (Mint Macaron). Measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 – scored at 4 1/4. To make the side panels – align left edge of the paper at the 1 1/4 mark and starting at the bottom, slide the trimmer blade to the score line. Move your paper to the 4 1/4 and do the same thing.
To give the side panels stability – using mini glue dots, adhere a piece of window sheet ( 1 x 4) to the panels.
Then adhere your Designer Series Paper (1 x 4)

For the second panel – cut a piece of card stock that 2 1/2 x 4. I embossed this piece of card stock with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder and adhere to the middle section of the card.
Stamp sentiment on Whisper White card stock and line up under the window sheet and adhere with mini glue dots.

For the third panel – cut a piece of Whisper White card stock that measures 4 x 5 1/4. Adhere the Designer Series Paper to each side. Stamp your sentiment. Adhere to the card base.
