Masking Technique Bottled Happiness – Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Hello everyone, it’s the first Saturday of the month, which means another fabulous blog hop with the Stamping with Friends blog hop group. The theme for the blog hop is Masking Technique. There are seventeen of us hopping today, so I know you will find some great inspiration.

It’s been nearly a week since I’ve crafted. I had an event last Saturday and getting last-minute craft ideas done and packing everything up can wipe a person out not to mention hauling a 10 x 10 canopy tent (thank God my son had a collapsible wagon – that really came in handy). Now onto my card.

For the masking technique, I am using the Bottled Happiness stamp set (which can be found in the annual catalog on page 16).

The colors I used are Crushed Curry, Gorgeous Grape, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, and Blackberry Bliss
(color combination from My Create Ink).
The card base is Blackberry Bliss with a Calypso Coral Panel.

I stamped the small bottle in Calypso Coral on Basic White card stock. I then created a mask using a post-it note for the small bottle. I placed the mask over the stamped image and stamped the large bottle in Gorgeous Grape. Added a small bow to the Gorgeous Grape bottle. Using Crushed Curry ink, stamped the bottle image on Crushed Curry card stock and punched out. Popped up this bottle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamped the sentiment onto Basic White card stock and die-cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies which I also popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. And of course, added some bling..always as bling!!
