Hello and welcome to the “What’s New at SU” blog hop. I am happy that you are joining us for our hop.
This month theme is masculine cards/projects. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today. My project showcases the Let it Ride stamp set.
When I saw the Let it Ride stamp set, I thought of my high school friend, Tami Harris who loves horses – especially miniature ones. Their names are Kneehigh and Rabbit. Four years ago I finally met Kneehigh when I was back home for my high school reunion. Aren’t they adorable? Can’t wait to see him and Rabbit at her new ranch – Horse Around Ranch.
Okay back to my project. I made this card using Soft Suede card stock and the soon to be retired Wood Texture Designer Series Paper.
I made the lasso using the Burlap Ribbon (didn’t realize I was out of the Linen Thread till I went looking for it). I cut the Burlap Ribbon apart and used one strand to make the lasso and adhered it to the panel using a mini glue dot.
The grass was colored using the dark and light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
You can continue with the hop by clicking on the previous (Diane Browning’s blog) or next (Anke Heim’s blog) buttons.
Please take a moment to comment at the bottom of this post and let me know how you liked my project.

Linda, you’re not just “horsin’ around” when it comes to pegging the perfect combo for a masculine card! Fantastic!
