Country Home – What’s new at Stampin Up Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the “What’s New at SU” blog hop. I am happy that you are joining us for our hop.
We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you. Featured products are from the new 2018 Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog.
I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today.

I am showcasing the Country Lane Suite. Of the seven suites in the Holiday Catalog, this one was first on my list to purchase.
As the name implies, it can create the feel of country comfort wherever you live.

I made a front step fold card.  The card base is blackberry bliss (my favorite color – so happy Stampin’ Up brought it back).  I adhered the Country Home designer series paper to Old Olive cardstock panels.
The stamped image was created using two of the fourteen stamps that are in the stamp set.  I used two new Stampin Blends colors – Blackberry Bliss (so excited) and Cajun Craze to color the flowers. I adhered the image to the second fold which is made with Cajun Craze cardstock and panels of Whisper White cardstock and the reverse side of the designer series paper.

I cut a small piece of the Chick Wire Elements and adhered it on top of the second fold.  I used the Embossing Paste to “fluff” up the cotton flowers.
