Hello and welcome to the January Stamp ‘n Hop blog hop. I am happy to be blog-hopping with talented people who love to share what they love. The theme for the blog hop is Celebrating Sale-a-bration.
What is Sale-a-bration? It’s one of the biggest sales events Stampin’ Up! holds once a year. During this period, you earn FREE products with eligible orders. Who doesn’t like free?
For my cards, I used the Sunny Days Designer Series Paper. You can get this FREE Sale-a-bration paper with a $50.00 order (before shipping and taxes). The cheerful colors and joyful designs work together, so you can mix and match any way you like. You can also fussy cut the flowers and strawberries to create fun accent pieces for all your paper crafting projects.
The inspiration for the cards I made comes from Call Me Crafty Al January Sheetload of Cards.
Poppy Parade card base and panel. The sentiment “Hope your day is a happy one” is from the So Sincere Cling Stamp set. Stamped it on Basic White and punched out using the 1 3/4 inch circle punch. The sentiment “Enjoy your day” is from the Heartfelt Hellos Cling Stamp set (a Sale-a-bration item). Stamped it in Poppy Parade ink and punched it out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I switched the panels up – putting the large pieces on top and the small pieces on the bottom.
Crushed Curry card base and panel. The die-cut Happy Birthday is from the Wanted To Say Dies. I die-cut Happy Birthday in Basic White and the solid part in Pool Party. The Hello sentiment is also from the Heartfelt Hellos Cling Stamp set.
The card stock small panel is to hide where the designer series paper met. All sentiments popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Card measurements:
Card base: 8.5 x 11 – scored at 5.5
Designer Series Paper panel: 4 x 5.25
Card stock panel: 3.25 x 4.5
Designer Series Paper: 1.5 x 4.25 (cut at 1.5) – need two (one of each design)
Card stock small panel: 3.25 x .5
