Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world sharing our passion for paper crafting. The theme for the blog hop is Anything Goes (basically what we are working on).
This past week, I have been making cards using Designer Series Paper that is in the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalog. When the catalog retires on May 2nd, so most likely will the Designer Series Paper in it.
Using the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, I made two Triple Accordion Style cards. The paper is on love inventory status, so don’t wait to long to order.
The first Triple Accordion Style card uses the Designer Series Paper as the card base. I adhered the Designer Series Paper to a quarter sheet of Night of Navy Card Stock. For the belly band, I die-cut the flowers.
The second Triple Accordion Style card uses Daffodil Delight card stock as the card base. Again, I die-cut flowers for the belly band. Both sentiments are from the By My Side cling stamp set.
My next set of cards uses the Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper. This paper is so beautiful I didn’t want to cut it up. But that is why we purchase paper, right? To use it.
The basic design was inspired by Connie Stewart (Simply Simple Stamping). I also used the Nature’s Prints Cling Stamp set for all the images.
The color combination for these cards is Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana (left) and Calypso Coral and Petal Pink (right).
The color combination for these cards is Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry (left) and Evening Everygreen and Soft Succulent (right).
All the panels on each card popped up using Stampin Dimensionals. Just a little tip when putting this type of card together using this paper – make sure you pay attention to the direction of the paper. Ask me how I know…lol
I hope I have inspired you to bring out your designer series paper and make some beautiful cards. Now to continue along the Anything Goes blog hop, click on the next button to see what Susan has made today.
