Fabulous Folders – June 2026 ICS Blog Hop

Hello, and it’s time for the Inspire Create Share Monthly Blog Hop. The theme for this month is Fabulous Folders. We are to pick our favorite embossing folder to create our project. Well, I have two favorite folders, the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder and the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

I decided to go with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder for my card. I just love sunflowers. How about you?

I used the spotlight technique for my card. I cut two pieces of Basic White Card Stock measuring 5 x 3 3/4 inches. On one, I created a frame. I laid the frame on the other piece of Basic White card stock using Post-it-note tape. Using a blending blush, I then began blending three inks, starting with Golden Glow, Crushed Curry, and finally Daffodil Delight.

Once I achieved the look I wanted, I embossed the Basic White card stock with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. I love how it turned out. I adhered this panel onto a piece of Golden Glow card stock, then onto Thick Basic White for the card base. The sentiment and die-cut are from the Filled With Sweetness Bundle.
