January Product of the Month – Stamping with Friends

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends blog hop. For this blog hop, the Design Team will showcase their inspiration for the December or January Product of the Month.

What is Product of the Month? Product of the Month items are specially designed to be some of the best items Stampin’ Up!® has to offer that aren’t available in any of the catalogs or Online Exclusives. Every month, Stampin’ Up!® will release a new item that is only available for purchase once per account. These items are limited quantities and are likely to sell out quickly—once they’re gone, they’re gone for good!

For this month, it is a stamp set called Fabulous Sayings. This stamp set features all-occasion sentiment stamps for birthdays, thank-you notes, love, friendship, and support cards. The mix of a handwritten script with a classic serif font pairs beautifully with a wide range of card-making and paper-crafting styles. I paired the stamp set with the Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack.

These are the three cards that I created

Here’s the first card:
The card base is Secret Sea cardstock. I embossed Pool Party card stock with the Soft Waves 3D embossing folder. I cut the two panels, each measuring 1 3/4 x 2 7/8. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered them to Secret Sea cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, fussy cut it, and popped it up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Second card:
The cardbase is Pool Party. I cut down the panel from the card pack to 4 x 5 1/4. Stamped the sentiment in Garden Green and adhered it to a panel of Basic White cardstock. Adhered Rhinestone Basic Jewels to three of the butterflies.

My third card:
The card base is Thick Basic White. I cut down the panel to measure 3 1/2 x 4 1/, and then cut it into three panels measuring 1 1/2 x 3 1/2. These panels were adhered to Garden Green cardstock, then to a Daffodil Delight cardstock panel. Used the Stylish Shapes die to cut the Basic White cardstock for the sentiment (stamped in Garden Green Ink). I added some Timid Tiger Faux Linen Ribbon prior to adhering the sentiment.
