Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators worldwide who love to share our passion for paper crafting. Today’s challenge is Anything But A Card. I decided to make a few Reindeer Food boxes for a couple of craft fairs I will attend in the next couple of months.
After seeing the Reindeer Designer Series Paper, I thought it would be great for making Magic Reindeer Food Boxes. So, I searched Pinterest for ideas and found a couple from Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Angie Juda (Chic n Scratch). I chose the one she made in 2013.
I used Real Red and Garden Green card stock for the boxes. The reindeer from the Designer Series Paper really makes the box pop. I used a retired layering circle die to die-cut the reindeer and a scalloped circle to adhere to it. I then popped it up using Stamping Dimensionals.
The Magic Reindeer Food is oatmeal with candy sprinkles. This poem will be on the back
Magic Reindeer Food
Just a sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
As Santa’s reindeer fly & roam,
This treat will guide them to your home
Creating these Reindeer Food boxes was fun; I hope the children enjoy them. To see other great inspirations, click Next Blog to continue along the blog hop.
