The theme for today is Color Refresh.

Stampin’ Up! announced new core colors and In-Colors with the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. The colors for my card contain two returning colors – Berry Burst and Pretty Peacock and a new core color – Lemon Lolly.

I created an envelope flap fold card after being inspired by many similar designs. This card is both enjoyable to make and simple.

The card base is Berry Burst cardstock. For the “flap”, I used the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper, and the flowers were made using the Paper Florist Dies. The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thought Photopolymer Stamp Set. One flower is die-cut in Fresh Freesia card stock and the other in Lemon Lolly card stock. The leaves in Pretty Peacock.

For the sentiment – I punched a piece of Berry Burst with the Decorative Circle Punch and Basic White using the 2 “iCircle Punch. I stamped the sentiment on Basic White using Berry Burst ink and adhered to the Berry White. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up so the flap can tuck inside.

Measurements:
Card base: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Basic White: 5 1/4 x 8 – scored at 4 inches
Designer Series Paper: 4 x 4
