January 2023 Showcase Hop – Ink Stamp Share

Hello, my stamping friends. Today I am hopping with the Ink Stamp Share group. We are a group of Stampin’ Up Demonstrators from around the world sharing our love of paper crafting. This is our January 2023 Showcase hop. Sharing with you what we are working on.

A little while back, Janet Wakeland, demonstrated a card that I liked and I wrote down the measurements for it. Well, I lost those measurements and found them again when I went on Pinterest- Tina Rappe of Stampin’ Studio. This is a very easy and simple card to make especially for swaps.

For my card, I used the Two-Tone Flora Bundle and Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper which can be found in Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog. I have already made a couple of cards using this beautiful Designer Series Paper. Click here to check them out.

I started with a Night of Navy card base that measures 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 and scored it at 4 1/4 inches. I cut the Designer Series Paper to measure 4 x 4 and adhere it to the Night of Navy using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the top section, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautifully Happy stamp set to a 3″x 3″ Basic White card stock. Adhered it to a 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4 Night of Navy card stock. For the flower, I stamped it in Calypso Coral using the stamping-off technique. The detailed stamp was stamped first generation and the fill-in stamp was stamped second generation. The leaves were stamped in Evening Evergreen.
The leaves were adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and I popped up the flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

When adhering to the top section, make sure the overall height of the card doesn’t exceed 5 1/2 inches (so that it will fit in a regular envelope).
