Sneak Peeks: Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog today. Today I am hopping with the awesome Stamping with Friends Design Team. The theme for today’s hop is – sneak peeks. Who doesn’t love sneak peeks? We are showcasing products for the upcoming January – April 2023 Mini Catalog or the Sale-a-bration catalog.

For my project, I am using some products the Fancy Flora suite. When I first saw this suite at Pittsburgh Onstage, I knew I had to get it. This suite consists of two stamp sets: The Two-Tone Flora Bundle and the Something Fancy Bundle. Also in the suite are the Fine Shimmer paper pack, Iridescent Pastel Gems, Pool Party Grosgrain ribbon, and the Fancy Flora designer series paper.

I found this style of fun fold card on Pinterest – I don’t know the name of it but I thought I would give it a go. I love learning new fun folds – how about you?

So I decided to create two color versions – one in Orchid Oasis and Fresh Fressia and the other in Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight.

For the Orchid Oasis/Fresh Fressia card – the card base is Orchid Oasis and the panel is Fresh Fressia. I adhered the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper to the panel. The floral image is a two-step stamp. A detailed one and a solid one. I stamped both the detail and solid stamp in Orchid Oasis ink but used the stamp-off technique for the solid one prior to stamping the detail image. The leaves are stamped in Soft Succulent ink. The sentiment is from the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Beautiful Happy (free with a qualified $100.00 order)

For the Calypso Coral/Daffodil Delight card – the card base is Calypso Coral with the Daffodil Delight for the panel. I adhered another Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper to the panel. I used the next size down for the flower stamps. The leaves are also stamped in Soft Succulent. The sentiment is from the Dainty Delight stamp set.

Middle section:
cardstock: 3 x 8 scored at 4
Panel: 2 3/4 x 3 3/4
Basic White: 2 5/8 x 3 5/8

I know I am going to be making more cards with this stamp set.
