Sketch Challenge – Stamping INKspriations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the May Stamping INKspriration Blog Hop. If you are starting with me or just coming from Teri West’s blog, I know that you will be inspired. This month’s theme is a sketch challenge.

When I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to use the new bundle Sending Smiles.

I used Thick Basic White card stock for the card base. The paper I chose is from the Design a Dream designer series paper. Now this is a host product that is only available with Stampin’ Rewards (ask me how you can earn Stampin’ Rewards).

I stamped the floral images in Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight and stems in Daffodil Delight on Basic White card stock. The shadow is die-cut in Blackberry Bliss with the text die-cut in Basic White. I adhered adhesive sheet to Basic White card stock prior to die-cutting so it will be easy to adhere to the shadow die-cut. HINT: be very careful not to loose the “dot” for the letter “i” – it is very small. I used my crafting tweezers to hold it till I adhered it.

The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink which I die-cut using the smallest sentiment die. I decided to die-cut another sentiment die in Daffodil Delight and off layered onto the Basic White.
