Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am hopping with my awesome friends from the Stamping with Friends blog hop group and we are showing you sneak peeks of items from the upcoming Mini / Sale-a-bration catalog that goes live on January 4th.
As always, there are some awesome products in both of the catalogs, and today I choose to make two cards using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle. The dies can cut out both stamped floral images and there are duplicates of the daffodil dies so you can die-cut two at one time.
The beautiful designer series paper is called Daffodil Afternoon which is FREE in the Sale-a-bration catalog with a $50 order (before shipping/taxes). Coordinates with Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Evening Evergreen, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla.
The inspiration for my first card is from a sketch from Call me (Crafty) Al. I die-cut the solid die in Daffodil Delight and the detailed die in Crushed Curry with the stems die-cut in Mossy Meadow. I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Very Vanilla card stock and adhere it to Mossy Meadow. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Special Moments and yes it’s a Sale-a-bration stamp set which means it is also FREE with a $100 order (before shipping/taxes). The card base is Thick Basic White card stock.
My second card is a three-panel card. The designer series paper really did all the work for this card.
The sentiment is from another new stamp set Flowing Flowers. I love this sentiment for I rather get a card instead of a text.
I hope you are inspired by my cards. To continue along the hop, click on the image below to see the inspiration Tricia has made from the Mini / Sale-a-bration catalog. I know you will like it.
