Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Stampin’ Up! February Blog Hop. This month’s colors are Flirty Flamingo, Pacific Point and Soft Sea Foam. Did you enjoy the inspiration that Sigrid Joch’s has on her blog? For my inspiration, I made an “One Sheet Wonder” using the Art Gallery stamp set.
For this technique, you cut the card stock down to 8 x 10 1/2 and scored at 4 and 5 1/4. The score lines help you with the placements of the stamps you are using. Next – stamp the leaf image in each corner with Soft Sea Foam. Flirty Flamingo was used for the large flower using the Stamp Off technique (Ink up your stamp image and stamp it on cardstock. Then, without re-inking the stamp, stamp it again in a different area of cardstock). Instead of stamping on the card stock first, I stamped on my grid paper then on the card stock.
The small flower was stamped in Pacific Point. On the first sheet , I stamped the image in full strength. Second sheet, I used the stamp off technique.
Once all the stamping was done, cut the card stock on the score lines and you will get 4 panels to make cards with.
Here are three of the cards I made.
Stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel. Quick and easy.
Punched out the sentiment using a retired punch. Popped up with dimensionals. Added an Opal Rounds.
Ribbon colored with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend.
Sentiment from the Lovely You Stamp Set.
I can’t wait to make another One Sheet Wonder using other stamp sets and colors.
I hope you try this fun and easy technique.
