This is a card I made for a dear friend who just had knee replacement surgery. What a way to send flowers that won’t wilt. The stamp set used is called Jar of Love (the title says it all – love).
Measurements:
Base card is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
Peekaboo Peach layer : 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Whisper White Layer: 4 x 5 1/4
Scrap whisper white for the flowers and jar.
Directions:
Score the base at 4/14 and set aside.
Jar: stamp in Smokey slate and cut out with the framelit. Stamp the water in Pool Party (Stamp off then stamp on the jar)Set aside for now.
Flowers: Take the big solid image of the flower and stamp in Peekaboo Peach. Stamp off on scrap piece of paper, then stamp on whisper white. This is gives it a light soft look. Do this for about 5-6 flowers.
Stamp the smaller detail image in Peekaboo peach and stamp directly on the flower image. Stamp the stems in Early Espresso. Cut out the flower images with the framelit.
Leaves: place the jar where you want it on the whisper white panel. Stamp the leaves in Pear Pizzaz (having the stems go down into the jar).
Cut a small piece of ribbon and wrap it around the top of the jar. Add dimensionals on the back and realign with the stems and adhere to the panel. Put dimensionals on the back of ear flower and place them on top of the leaves.
Adhere the panel to the peekaboo panel with snail adhesive , then adhere that to the card base.
