Flowering Fields Suite – Ink Stamp Share Monthly Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink Stamp Share January 2022 Blog Hop. So happy that you are here. If you are starting with me or just come from Angie’s Blog, I know you will be so inspired by all the projects showcased today. Today we are showcasing our favorite suite whether in the annual or mini catalog. How does one choose a favorite from all the beautiful suites in both catalogs? Well, one of my favorites is the Flowering Fields Suite.

With this suite being one of my favorites, I haven’t played with it much. The designer series paper is just so gorgeous that I hated to cut it.

I made a Double Side Step Pop-Up Card inspired by Iced Images. Click here to see her video on how to assemble the card (below are the dimensions for an A2 size card). This style card is great to show off the designer series paper. It looks hard but it’s very easy to make.

The card base is Poppy Parade, with Old Olive for the matte layers. I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Hostess stamp set Expressions of Friendship which I stamped on Basic White card stock and punched out using the Double Oval Punch.

I adhered the same designer series paper on the sides. I think it looks awesome..what do you think?

To sign the card, I adhered Basic White card stock to the back. The sentiment is from the Flowering Fields Stamp set.

And yes this card does fold flat to fit in an envelope (might need extra postage due to the bulk).

Designer Series Paper: 4 1/4 x 4, 4 x 3 3/4 , 2 3/4 x 2 3/4
