February 2026 Bloggers Choice – Stamping with Friends

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world sharing our love for papercrafting one card at a time. Since the theme is the February 2026 Bloggers’ Choice, I decided to make some Valentine’s Day cards.

I haven’t sent or made Valentine’s Day cards in a long time. It’s just one of those “holidays” I don’t celebrate, but this year, I decided to change that.

For my cards, I used the Love Notes 6 x6 Mix & Match Designer Series Paper.  This paper combines full-sheet patterns and cut-apart designs, making it easy to create beautiful cards in no time. I made five different cards, and you will notice that I didn’t use any stamps or ink to create them. Just the Designer Series Paper.

For my first card, I used the checkered piece (cut it down a little to fit my card) and the two small pieces.

The card base is Thick Basic White cardstock. I adhered the checkered panel to Real Red card stock. I adhered the Be My Valentine panel, placed a piece of Basic Black cardstock behind the two hearts panel, and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I colored the Rhinestone Basic Jewels using the Dark Real Red Stampin Blend.

Card #2, I used the Azure Afternoon DSP and the square panel.

This style card is a book binding. The card base is Azure Afternoon card stock. I adhered the DSP to Real Red card stock. The sentiment panel is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Card #3 – I cut down the Gorgeous Grape panel, and for the sentiment panel, I removed the “to and from”.

Used Gorgeous Grape for the card base. I adhered the sentiment panel to Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I cut a small piece of Vellum to add to the back of the sentiment panel. I used Purple Fine Shimmer Gems for the bling.

Card #4 – I used the sheet with both designs and the Love you more sentiment square.

This style of card is called a “Back Bend ” card. The card base is Real Red cardstock. I adhered the sentiment panel on Basic White cardstock and layered that on Real Red cardstock. I am thinking of making more of this style card for card swaps when I go to Onstage Long Beach next month.

The final card is easy. Used the heart panel and fussy cut the sentiment.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I adhered the Heart DSP to Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Popped up the sentiment using mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Now the Love Notes Designer Series Paper can be used for more than Valentine’s. Maybe for encouragement and just to say you love someone.
