Hello and welcome to the Product of the Month Blog hop. For this blog hop, the Design Team will share inspiration using January’s Product of the Month (Fabulous Sayings) or February’s Product of the Month (Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper). I am using the Fabulous Sayings Stamp set today.

For my cards, I used the Stack, Cut, and Shuffle technique. This technique is a method for creating multiple unique cards simultaneously. Typically, three to four pieces of patterned designer series paper (DSP) are stacked, cut into sections, then rearranged (“shuffled”) to mix the patterns, ensuring each card features a combination of the papers. The Designer Series Paper I used is called Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP. It’s a March Online Exclusive. Can you see a new color? It’s called Hydrangea Hue.

Here are my cards:

To create the focal point, I took one of the Arches from the Everyday Arches Die and die-cut three of the DSP’s together. Then I cut 1 1/2 inches from the bottom, and for the top sections, I cut them close to half. To make the pieces line up correctly, I removed 1/8 inch from one of the top sections.

For each card, I embossed the cardstock panel using the So Swirly Embossing folder that was adhered to a panel of Basic White.
Card #1 – The cardbase is Secret Sea, and the embossed card stock is Crumb Cake. The panels were popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Ink.

Card #2 – The cardbase is Crumb Cake, and the embossed cardstock is Secret Sea. This time, I didn’t pop up the panels; I just adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Card #3 – The cardbase is Mossy Meadow, and the embossed cardstock is Gray Granite. Panels were popped up.

So which card is your favorite? I think I like the cards that have the panels popped up. I have ordered February’s Product of the Month – Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper, but it won’t be delivered till tomorrow (February 12th). I can’t wait to create with it.
