It’s a love thing – ICS Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Inspire Create Share Blog Hop. This is my first time hopping with this wonderful group of ladies. The theme for this blog hop is It’s a Love Thing. I made a couple of cards using the Sunshine & Tulips Bundle.

Here are my cards.

The how-tos in making the cards:
1. Cut a piece of Thick Basic White to 4 1/4 x 11 and score at 5 1/2.
2. Cut a panel measuring 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and adhere to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
3. Using the large die, die-cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to create a mask.
4. Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock slightly smaller than the mask.
5. Lay the mask over the Basic White cardstock, ink up a Blending Brush, and go over the flowers. Goal is to create an ombre look – so some flowers will be lighter than others.
6. Ink up the small flower image in the same ink and stamp onto the flowers.
7. Die-cut another piece of cardstock for the top layer (I used Granny Apple Green) and ink up the leaves.
8. Pop out the leaves and align with the flowers. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
9. Adhere to cardbase. Die-cut some tulips (I suggest using adhesive sheets since they are small and thin).
10. Add your sentiment and bling.
