Valentine’s Day / Thinking of You

Hello and welcome to Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop. This is our first blog hop of the year. Today’s blog challenge is Valentine’s Day / Thinking of You. I usually don’t do Valentine’s Day cards, but I thought I would make a couple this year. Do you make Valentine’s Day cards?

Now, if you don’t know this about me, I love Designer Series Paper (I mean, who doesn’t). Sometimes, I would purchase the paper and not the stamp set. That is what I did this time. I purchased the Made with Love Designer Series paper.

The colors I used for my card are Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo, and Poppy Parade.

I used Poppy Parade cardstock for the card base. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered a panel of Bubble Bath cardstock. On this card, I used both sides of the Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment is from the Bee Mine Valentine Stamp set, which I stamped in Poppy Parade ink. I colored the White Baker’s Twine (from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack), using the Dark Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends. I popped up the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The hearts are punched out using the Bee Builder Punch in Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I added Wink of Stella to give them a bit of shine. The hearts are also popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped both the sentiment and hearts in Poppy Parade.

Measurements:
Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Panel: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
DSP: 5 1/4 x 4 – cut at 2 1/4 so you will have a piece measuring 5 1/4 x 2 1/4 and 5 1/4 x 1 3/4
