Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends first blog hop of the year. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world sharing our creative ideas with you. The challenge for this blog hop is Tic Tac Toe (just like the game).

We are to pick any row (diagonally, vertically, horizontally) to create our card, so I chose Thinking of You, Fun Fold, and Floral. The card I made is called a Secret Sliding Message Card. I love it. This is my first time making this style of card.

I used the Petals of Beauty Bundle along with the Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper.

Crumb Cake and Early Espresso cardstock were used for the card base. I stamped the “Hello Friend” sentiment in Calypso Coral ink. This sentiment is from the Lovely Arrangements Photopolymer Stamp Set, which will be available January 6, 2026.

The large flower is stamped in Calypso Coral ink, and the small flower in Darling Duckling. I stamped the detail stamp first, then the background stamp using the stamp-off method. I die-cut the floral images in the same colors. For the leaves, I die-cut the large leaf in Mossy Meadow. I took the negative from the die-cut and used it to blend. Looks pretty good, what do you think? The Darling Duckling flower is popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Here’s the inside of the card:

As you open it up, the message appears. The sentiment is also from the upcoming Lovely Arrangements stamp set. To me, saying “Love You” is another way of saying Thinking of you. Stamped the small flower in Calypso Coral ink. Would you believe, I smudge some ink on the Basic White cardstock – but it’s hidden.
