Christmas – Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to my blog —or welcome back if you have visited here before. I am hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop group today. The design team and I are challenged to create something for Christmas (it will be here before you know it). I decided to make some more Christmas cards to add to my collection (that I will be sending out soon).

My inspiration for my cards comes from Call Me Crafty Al. Every month, she creates what she calls “Sheet Load of Cards”. The Designer Series Paper I used for my cards is called Traditions of Christmas. Isn’t this paper beautiful? I used four different designs of the designer series paper.

For all my cards, I used Gold Foil for the first panel and Two Tone cardstock for the second panel. The sentiments were die-cut in Gold Foil using the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder.

For my first card, I used Old Olive cardstock for the card base. For the second panel, I used Old Olive Two Tone cardstock on the light side and embossed it with the Forever Plaind 3D Embossing Folder.

The second card, I used Pool Party cardstock for the card base. Again, two-tone cardstock was used for the second panel. I decided not to emboss the panel. The sentiment was adhered to a die-cut circle using one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I popped up the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The third card uses Real Red cardstock for the card base. The second panel was embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder.

And finally, for my last card, Secret Sea cardstock was used for the card base. I adhered the sentiment to the banner die-cut from the Nested Essentials Dies in Secret Sea card stock.
