Hello and welcome to my blog. Time for Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. Today’s challenge is Bloggers Choice, where we share what we are working on. I’m trying (trying mind you), to get ahead start on my Christmas cards. I am using a class that Stampin’ Up! sent out to all demonstrators called Sweetest Christmas.
Stampin’ Up! sends demonstrators a monthly class. The class for July used the Jar of Joy Stamp set and they made two Christmas cards.

Here are the two cards they made, along with the sketch used:

I decided to make the second card with the ornaments. Of course, I put my little twist on it. I don’t have the Nest of Winter Designer Series Paper (shocker, I know), so I used something similar instead. I used the Regals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and chose the Garden Green design.

The stripe design works perfectly. I added a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock to adhere the Designer Series Paper to. Using Watercolor pencils, I colored the hearts in Real Red and the other ornaments in Daffodil Delight. I used a blender pen to smooth out the colors – I love how the Daffodil Delight changed colors. Of course, I added Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.

The ornament panel is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals while everything else is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
This is a quick and easy card to make. If you don’t have all the supplies to make your Sweetest Christmas cards, use what you have, and I look forward to seeing what you create. For the tutorial, click on the image below.
