Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m excited to participate in the Stamping with Friends blog hop today. We are a group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators from around the world who love to share our passion for paper crafting. The challenge for today’s blog hop is to showcase Online Exclusives. The Online Exclusive item I’ve chosen to showcase is the Sophisticated Sled Bundle.
What are Online Exclusives? Online Exclusives are products not found in any catalog but only through my online store. Some products will be reordered when inventory is low; others will only be available while supplies last.
Now, onto my project. I bought this wall decor from Dollar Tree and altered it.
After
First, I removed as much paper as possible from the squares. The paper has a glossy feel, and I wanted to make sure any designer series paper or card stock I used adhered to it.
The designer series paper that I chose is called Winter Meadow. The design of the winter scene is perfect for my project. What do you think? Each square measures 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 inches. You can make four of these home decor items from a 12 x 12 piece of Designer Series Paper.
The cardstock used for the die cuts is Early Espresso and Crumb Cake (sled), Mossy Meadow and Old Olive (greenery), and Basic White, Misty Moonlight, and Gray Granite (skates).
For this square, I colored the linen thread with my Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin Blend. I used Mini Glue Dots to hold the skates in place. The sled is popped up using Stampin Dimensionals.
For the sentiment square, I used the Greetings Of The Season Dies (also an Online Exlusive). I die-cut one piece from Basic White card stock and another from Blueberry Bushel. The bow is made from Silver and White ribbons.
For this square, I stamped the bird in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using the Real Red Combo Stampin’ Blends and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink. The sled is also popped up using Stampin Dimensionals.
I had fun making this home decor using the Sophisticated Sled Bundle. I hope I inspired you to create your home decor to keep or give as a gift. To continue along the Online Exclusive blog hop, click Next Blog for another inspiration or any of the names listed below to see what they shared.
You can purchase any of the supplies I used by clicking on the “add to all cart” button or on the individual icons.
