Hello, my fellow stampers. I am starting my Weekly Color Combinations, and this week’s colors are Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Peach Pie. The stamp set I used is the Country Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set.
I received this stamp set when I went to Houston Onstage. It includes flower bunches that you can place over the teapot and bucket
Now for my card. I had this design in mind for a couple of days, but I didn’t know what colors I would use at the time.
I stamped the flower pot image in Tuxedo Memento Ink onto a small section of one of the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper sheets for the Calypso Coral color (oval outline).
I stamped the stool and floral images using the Tuxedo Memento Black ink on scrap Basic White card stock. I used Pecan Pie Combo Stampin’ Blends to color the stool and Cherry Cobbler, Peach Pie, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends for the floral image. Using a blending brush, I blended Peach Pie Ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and then adhered my images.
I embossed Peach Pie card stock with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder and adhered the Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The sentiment is from the Simply Zinnia Cling Stamp Set stamped in Calypso Coral ink.
I am sending this card to a special friend. Can you create a card using this week’s color combination?
Until next time, Happy Crafting
Linda
