Hello and welcome. I am hopping with the Stamping with Friends Design Team members. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world share our love of paper crafting. This is an off-schedule blog hop. My friends and I will be showcasing Online Exclusives.
What are Online Exclusives? These are products exclusively online – not in any catalog.
I decided to use the So Very Merry Photopolymer Stamp Set. Each of the images is designed to reflect a stained-glass window effect.
Instead of a card – I made Christmas decorations. This time of the year, I get ready to do Christmas vendor events. One of the items I create is Christmas ornaments using wood slices I purchase on Amazon.
I began by applying a thin coat of Mod Podge to the wooden circle. This helps so that the wooden circle doesn’t absorb the embossing or ink. Once dried, I ran my embossing buddy over them and stamped the images with VersaMark Ink. The Santa image is embossed with Black Embossing Powder and the Angel is embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
I colored both images with Stampin’ Blends. Love how they turned out.
For Santa – All dark Real Red, Lolly Lemon, Daffodil Delight, Deep, and Black Stampin’ Blends. I painted the white area in White Craft Ink. Be very careful – for that will take time to dry.
I added twine and the new Real Red and Gold ribbon. Isn’t it pretty?
For the Angel – I used Dark Tahitan Tide, Bronze, and Daffodil Delight.
I hope you are inspired to use the So Very Merry Stamp Set. Click on next blog, to see what Diane has made for this Online Exclusive Blog Hop.
