Hello, my stamping friends, and welcome. Today I am hopping with my good friends from the Stamping with Friends blog hop group. The theme for today’s blog hop is Christmas Cards. Now whether you are starting with me or just came from Susan’s blog, I know you will be inspired by all the projects that will be showcased today from around the world.
This month I held my second in-person class (yay) where we made four Christmas cards and a treat bag and everyone had so much fun. I am showcasing one of the cards we made.
This card is so much fun and easy to make. The designer series paper used is called Celebrate Everything.
The Designer Series Paper pack has Christmas trees, decorations, pumpkins and ghosts, fireworks, and other designs that you can use for your cardmaking or scrapbooking.
The colors I used for my cards are:
The first card uses Pacific Point as the card base. Using the Decorative Circle Punch, I punched Shaded Spruce card stock and adhered the sentiment to it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the ribbon to the designer series paper using Stampin’ Seal. I then popped up the sentiment panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals over the ribbon.
My second card uses Poppy Parade card stock for the card base and Pacific Point for the decorative circle.
For the inside of both cards, the sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Card measurements and stuff:
Cardbase – 7 1/4 x 5 1/2 scored at 3 inches
Basic White: 2 3 /4 x 5 1/4
Designer Series Paper: 2 3/4 x 5 1/4 (front panel) and 1 x 5 1/4 (side panel)
