Hello and welcome to the April Showcase Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world and today we are showcasing what we have been working on.
I don’t know about you, but I have a nice collection of designer series papers. A very big collection I hate to admit. So I am trying to use some of it up. While researching (or as my kids say, stalking) Pinterest, I found a corner pocket card that will help me with this. The corner pocket card is like a card within a card.
My first two cards use the In the Wild designer series paper (oh and it’s on the retirement list so grab yours soon).
Don’t know if you can notice, but there’s a sneak peek of a new product on these cards. The square and the banner – are part of the Stylish Shape Dies which will be available in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Isn’t this card within a card adorable?
My other cards use the Hand-Penned designer series paper (which unfortunately is no longer available).
For the scalloped rectangle, I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and added some Champagne Rhinestone for a little bling. I think it gives the cards a “pop”.
Card measurements:
Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
DSP: 5 1/4 x 4
Pocket Cardstock: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 – cut in half diagonally
Pocket DSP: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 – cut in half diagonally
Insert Card: 3 1/4 x 8 1/2 – score at 4 1/4
I hope I have inspired you to make a couple of Corner Pocket cards. It’s a great way to use up your DSP collection. Click on next to see what Vickie has made for our April Showcase blog hop, I know you will be inspired.
