Pop Up Z Fold Card – Ink Stamp Share March Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink Stamp Share March blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ UP! demonstrators from around the world who love to share our passion for paper crafting. Today we are showcasing our favorite fun fold. Out of the fun folds that I like, I just couldn’t just pick one so I decided to learn a new one – a Pop-Up Z fold card.

For my card, I used the Pansy Patch Bundle along with the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (sad note – the Pansy Petals DSP is retiring soon, so now is the time to purchase it while supplies last).

I saw a lot of inspiration on Pinterest and Youtube on how to make this style card, but I went with Dawn Griffith’s video (Dawn Stamping Thoughts) for my card.

Soft Succulent card stock is used as the card base. Two of the sentiments are from the Pansy Patch stamp set and the Best Wishes sentiment is from the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set.

I kinda cheated on the pansies..they are die-cut from the DSP using two dies from the die set.
I love that I can do that, for it saves me time on fussy cutting (which I really don’t like).
I doubled up on the Blackberry Bliss pansy using Stamping Dimensionals to give it some depth.

5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4
2 @ 2 3/4 x 2 3/4
2 @ 1 3/4 x 1 3/4
DSP:
3 @ 1 7/8 x 5 1/4
1 @ 2 x 2
Basic White:
2 @ 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
2 @ 1/2 x 1 1/2
