Hello, my stamping friends and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ UP! demonstrators from around the world who love to share with you our passion for crafting. The theme for the blog hop is a mini album or a loaded envelope. I can’t wait for you to see all the inspiration that will be shown here today.
I stepped out of my comfort zone and choose to make a loaded envelope. I saw one made by a fellow demonstrator, I just knew I had to take the plunge and make one. Well since I have never made one before I searched Youtube for a tutorial and I found a great one by the Scottish Crafter. Her tutorial is so quick and easy. I used the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper for my envelope.
I “stuffed” my loaded envelope with a couple of note cards, altered paper clips, and a two mini to-do lists.
For the altered paper clips, I used the retired Triple Banner Punch to make the flags. The designer series paper measures 2 x 8 scored at 4 1/4. Scorig it at 4 1/4 gives it a nice angle once it is on the paper clip. The sentiments are from the Hello Ladybug stamp set and the Expressions of Friendship stamp set.
Now for the mini to-do-list. I used a couple of cards from the Hand-Penned Memories and More set. I cut a window sheet to 3 x 4 and used a binder clip to adhere it. I added two small magnets on the back and covered them up with matching card stock so that they can be put on the fridge.
For the note cards, I die cut the flower image Daffodil Delight and Mint Macarron card stock and adhered to basic white card stock. The sentiments are from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set.
I hope I have inspired you to make your own loaded envelope. I know I will be making for to give as gifts. To continue on the blog hop, click on the image below to see what Melva has made. I know it is awesome.
