Hello and welcome to my blog today. So happy that you are here.
I am hopping with some of my awesome friends of Stamping with Friends Blog Hop group. Our theme this month is coloring. Who doesn’t like to color? I know I do, I find it very relaxing.
For my coloring inspiration I use the Delivering Cheer stamp set.
The Delivering Cheer Stamp Set to turn any gift into instant cheer. Mix and match the enchanting line-art images to create a look that’s perfect from (covered) head to toe. You can use your favorite coloring techniques to customize the images for any season or occasion, though of course it’s ideal for the holiday season. This set includes Christmas greetings as well.
My favorite coloring medium is using the Stamping Blends. Ever since Stampin’ Up first came out with them, I fell in love with them. I do tend to forget that I have watercolor pencils and markers…lol.
Even though this stamp set is typically for Christmas, I used it to make a Birthday Card. I mean who wouldn’t love all those presents for their birthday. I stamped both images in Memento Black Tuxedo Ink onto Basic White card stock. The skirt and shoes are colored with Papaya Stampin Blend Combo. For the presents, I used Misty Moonlight, Real Red, Highland Heather, Cinnamon Cider, Pool Party, Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake Blends.
I adhered the image to Pale Papaya Card stock. The DSP is from the Hand-Penned DSP. I can’t get enough of it. The sentiment is from Friends are Like Seashells stamp set and stamped in Highland Heather.
Yes I made a Christmas card for my second card. The paper used is from the Tidings of Christmas pack. The Christmas tree is colored with Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blends. I also used Real Red, Soft Sea Foam, and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends. And of course, you have to decorate the small tree, so I decided to color some Basic Pearls for decoration.
So which card do you like? Of course, I favor both.
Now it’s time to see what Donna has made. Click on the image below to go to her blog and see her coloring inspiration.
