Hello and thank you for stopping by today. Today I am hopping with some awesome design team members of the Stamping with Friends Blog hop group. Each one of us will be showcasing a favorite technique or newly learned one to share with you. I know you will be inspired by all of them. I will be showcasing the Spotlight Technique using the Designer Series Paper Beautifully Penned (which is free during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying order).
The spotlight technique is easy-peasy:
First, I selected the area I want to spotlight on. Then using one of the layering circle dies, I die-cut the area.
I colored the area with Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya, Highland Heather, and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends.
I adhered the die-cut to Basic Black Card Stock and adhered back in the area – just like a puzzle. How easy is that?
I adhered the panel to Mint Macaron Card stock which was then adhered to the Basic Black Card base. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Shaded Summer.
I do hope I inspired you to try the Spotlight Technique. Now click on the image below to see what design team member Donna’s technique is. To see all the techniques showcased, click on the roll call below.
