Sweet Strawberry – Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends blog hop. If you are starting with me or coming from Tricia’s blog, I know that you will be inspired today. The theme, well there really isn’t a specific theme for it is Blogger’s Choice. I decided to ink up my Sweet Strawberry bundle. I don’t know about you, but I love strawberries. Not only are they good, but they can help with arthritis.

My card base is Basic White Thick card stock. I adhered Poppy Parade Designer Series Paper to the card base.

Using a Scalloped Contour Die, I die cut a piece of Basic White Card Stock. I then adhered a piece of Poppy Parade Card Stock and then a piece of Basic White Card Stock.

I punched out a “template”. I lined up the stamps (like a puzzle) and laid my acrylic block on them. So when I go to punch out the images, everything is lined up.

I stamped all the detailed images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I used Poppy Parade ink for the strawberries. The top strawberry, I stamped off once and stamped the “fill-in” image but then I inked up the image again and stamped the same strawberry full strength. I love how it turned out. The large leaves are inked in Garden Green and the stems are inked in Old Olive.

The middle strawberry is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Don’t know why I waited so long to use this bundle, I love it. If you have this bundle, I hope you are inspired to use it.
