Hello and welcome to the Ink Stamp Share July Showcase Blog Hop. If you are starting with me or just came from Victoria’s blog, I do hope you are inspired by all the projects today. This blog hop is to showcase what we’ve been working on. I wanted to expand my library of fancy folds so to Pinterest I went and found the Pop-out card. After much thought, I decided to use products from the Pansy Patch bundle.
The Pop-out card is like a card within a card.
Also what is a first for me is not adding layers of card stock mattes. I usually have a matte for each piece of designer series paper to adhere to but not this time. Just did two.
The card base is Blackberry Bliss along with Fresh Freesia.
The front sentiment is actually one stamp. I covered the “From me to you” with a post-it note and inked it up with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Removed the post-it note prior to stamping. Repeated the same procedure – just coved the “a little hello”.
The inside of the card
I couldn’t resist adding a little Wink of Stella to the insides of all the flowers.
Did you know that a couple of the dies will cut out some of the flower images on the designer series paper? I love when Stampin’ Up! does that.
The Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and other selected papers are currently on sale for 15% off until August 2nd. Click here to shop.
Measurements for the Pansy Patch Pop-Out Card:
Fresh Freesia – 5 1/4 x 11 score at 1 3/4, 3 1/2, 5 1/4 and 7
to cut the pop- out section: on the short side – align the card stock @ 1 1/4 on your trimmer (make sure the score lines are on top). Start at 1 3/4 (first score line) and cut down to 5 1/4 (third score line). Flip over and repeat the process.
Blackberry Bliss – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 , 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 , 1 1/2 x 2 1/2
Basic White- 5 x 7 1/2 score at 3 3/4, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Designer Series Paper: 2@ 1 1/2 x 5, 1 1/4 x 2 1/4, 4 @ 1 x 1 1/2
