Book Binding Cards – use up your Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I want to share with some cards I made using the Book Binding technique. It is fun and very easy to do.

For the card base, cut your cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11 and score at 4 and 5 1/2.
The matte is cut at 1 1/4 x 4 and 3 3/4 x 4. Designer Series Paper is cut at 3 5/8 x 3 7/8.
For my first two cards, I used the Pampered Pets stamp set and designer series paper. The sentiments are from a couple of retired stamps sets.

My next two cards just might be my favorite. Who could resist the snails from the Snail Mail bundle. Aren’t they the cutest?

For my last two cards – I used the Friends are like Seashells bundle and the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper. For the seashell, it is die cut out of the Pearlescent Specialty Paper, then embossed. I used the blending brush to apply color to it.

Like I said, the Book Binding cards are so fast and easy (and addictive).
