Hello my friends.
Have you ever made a card and wanted to keep it? I know I have many times.
This is my first attempt at making my own patterned paper. I used the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (annual catalog page 13). Of course you can use the Birthday Blossoms stamps for other occasions such as an anniversary, thinking of you or for an encouragement card.
***Supplies***
Large panel:
Whisper White card stock 5.5 x 8.5 (score at 4.25)
Basic Black card stock 5 x 3.75
Small Panel:
Whisper White Card stock
Basic Black card stock
***Directions***
Large panel: Stamp both sets of flowers randomly on the whisper white card stock. Watermelon Wonder was used on the single flower and Delightful Dijon on the flower cluster.
I used a blender pen to color the flowers. You don’t want to touch the blender pen on your ink pad. Instead with the lid closed, press the top and bottom of the ink pad together a couple of times. This will create a “pool” of ink in the lid when you open it. Apply light first because you can always add more color. The stems came from the stamp set Love and Affection and I stamped them in Mint Macaroon. Adhere this panel to the basic black card stock.
Small panel: Stamp one of each of the single and cluster flower. Color as you did for the large panel. Stamp your sentiment. Adhere to the basic black card stock and adhere to the large panel positioning close to the right edge. Adhere to your card base.
Stamp a single flower on a scrap piece of whisper white and color. Punch it out using the Pansy Punch. Adhere on top of the flower using stampin’ dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed making your own patterned paper.

The card looks very nice! Great idea to make your own print on the cardstock. Thanks for sharing.
